With Summer just around the corner I'm really excited to transition into my summer makeup routines! That of course calls for much brighter and vibrant lips; well at least for me anyhow. Also part of YOUNGBLOOD'S Summer 2013 Collection is a gorgeous Mighty Shiny Lip Gel called FLAUNT. I wanted more of a dramatic look on this particular day so I decided to pair  DRAGON FRUIT AND FLAUNT. They compliment each other very well! FLUANT was also very moisturizing and long lasting. It gave my lips a glistening effect that shinned beautifully in the sun! Flaunt is described as brilliant pink with a hint of golden shimmer. I love the golden shimmer in this lip gel! When the light hits and you get that golden twinkle it's amazing! I am so over winter! I am so excited to see that summer clothing is starting to appear! That means summer is really just around the corner! Summer is my favorite time of the year. I get to enjoy the combination of my favorite things: Bright colors, Sunshine, cute shoes, and showing off my painted toes! NEW Product INGLOT LIP PALETTE

I only bought 3 of these lipsticks at the makeup show LA 2013 with the 5-pan palette, but wish I had got all 10 of them after taking them home to play with! Thank goodness they are the same size as the square eye shadows. I'll be able to re use the palette for eye shadow once I purchase the other 7 of these lipsticks and an empty 10-pan palette! I'm so excited these are part of the freedom palette system. No more hassle or worry that you have to pack up a ton of lipsticks for your next outing, photo shoot, or vacation! Perfect for anyone who is on the go!

This is the look I envisioned when I was testing these out at the show.

If you read my recap about The Makeup Show LA 2013 you will remember me mentioning that I had envisioned a lip look and this was the look I was referring to. However I feel like I need some practice in creating Ombré lips. This was my first attempt at this ever so popular style of lipstick. I can't wait to purchase the last 7 so I can create some fun new lip looks and practice ombré lips of course! The staying power of these new lipsticks is awesome! . I created this look around 11 pm slept in it woke up here I sit at almost noon and the color hasn't budged, or smeared! I did lose the shine so my lips look matte right now, but a little clear gloss and voila!  My lips don't feel dry at all. That's really important to me. If lipstick leaves my lips feeling dry I won't wear it no matter how pretty the shade. Thank goodness these are moisturizing! The price is very reasonable also. Retailing for just $6 each!
